The resort of La Plagne is made up of 11 tranquil villages including La Plagne Centre and La Plagne Bellecote. This resort is ideal for family holidays thanks to its numerous children’s facilities. Everything has been thought of so that children, families and friends find everything they need to have a great holiday. There is an ice-rink, an outside swimming pool (heated to 29°c), bars, restaurants, and shops all easily accessible.
The ski area
We love skiing La Plagne because it’s very easy to get around and there are almost never any queues for the lifts. La Plagne along with Les Arcs and Peisey-Vallandry, is part of the Paradiski ski area, one of the largest ski areas in the Alp. It covers over 425km of pistes and benefits from Snow parks, quiet zones for beginners, forest runs, a half pipe, and a bordercross course , meaning that whether you are an amateur or a ski pro, La Plagne will not disappoint!
By car, follow signs to Moutiers, then Aime, then La Plagne. The nearest train station (with TGV and Eurostar services) is in Aime and it is linked to resort by regular bus services and taxis. The closest airports are Geneva, Lyon and Chambery.
