An emblematic ski resort of the Grenoblois because of its proximity to the capital of the Alps (30km), the Olympic Games of 1968 made the resort famous.
Chamrousse covers three levels: Chamrousse 1650 (Recoin), Chamrousse 1700 (Villages of Bachat) and Chamrousse 1750 (Roche Béranger) on an area of 1300 hectares.
The panorama is exceptional overlooking Grenoble and its valley. The highest point is the Chamrousse Cross at 2250 meters above sea level.
