Located on the snow front, this destination, also known as Courchevel Village, provides direct access to the ski slopes. In the heart of the French Alps, this resort attracts travelers from all over the world seeking winter adventures, relaxation, and culinary discoveries. Courchevel: Luxury at its peak
The Courchevel resort is made up of 6 villages: Courchevel 1850, Moriond (1650 m), Courchevel Village (1550 m), Le Praz (1300 m), La Tania and Saint-Bon.
The history of the resort's creation is linked to the arrival of the train in the town of Moûtiers, which attracted increasing numbers of holidaymakers to the mountains. Faced with the growing popularity of winter sports, the mayor of Saint-Bon decided to develop infrastructure to accommodate tourists. The first ski club was founded in 1930, followed by the very first ski competition in 1938. The Courchevel resort officially began in 1946 with the arrival of its first guests. This was followed by the opening of the Biollay ski lift and the Verdons cable car to La Saulire. In 1992, during the Albertville Winter Olympics, the resort hosted the ski jumping events, contributing to its international renown.
Today, with its 60 ski lifts, Courchevel is one of the world's most renowned ski resorts. Synonymous with elegance, sophistication, and luxury, it represents the pinnacle of luxury in the Alps.
