We love Les Arcs because it has something for everyone. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced skier, you’ll find what you're looking here. The resort has superb facilities for all the family and offers dynamic evening events for those who love to party. Who said you can’t please everyone? The new ‘Mille 8’ area is in Arc 1800, it offers a swimming pool and gym as well as a sledging piste, night skiing, a terrain park and other activities.
The ski area
Les Arcs, along with Peisey-Vallandry and La Plagne is part of the Paradiski ski area, which offers 425km of pistes, 131 ski lifts, terrain parks, forest runs, quiet beginner areas, 2 glaciers….all in magnificent, breath taking scenery!
Stretching between 1200 and 3250 meters above sea level, you will find various influences ranging from the peaceful Arc 1600 (with its family atmosphere) to the festive Arc 1800 (with its multitude of activities and its breathtaking view of the valley); while passing by the unmissable Arc 1950 (with its breathtaking view of the Mont Blanc and its luxury accommodation) and the magnificent Arc 2000, which benefits from a large number of pistes and a view worthy of paradise.
The Les Arcs villages are all inter-connected by a system of free shuttle buses.
Arc 1600 is also linked to Bourg Saint Maurice by Funicular and road. The train station in Bourg Saint Maurice is the terminus for the Eurostar and TGV. A regular bus service and taxis serve the closest airports of Geneva, Lyon and Chambery.
