🎀 For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Ski Republic is launching the “SKI IN PINK” campaign, joining forces with the association Des Sommets pour Rebondir, which helps women affected by cancer regain strength, confidence, and energy through various mountain activities.

🏔️ An association born from a summit and a dream
Founded in 2015 by Véronique, herself a former patient, Des Sommets pour Rebondir was born from a challenge: to reach Monte Rosa, the legendary mountain range behind Mont Blanc, with 11 peaks rising above 4,000 metres.
A symbolic adventure that has since become a true journey of recovery and empowerment for hundreds of women.
💪 Rebuilding confidence through the power of the mountains
For nearly 10 years, the association has been helping women move beyond the medical setting and find new momentum through sport and nature.
In partnership with the Bureau des Guides de Grenoble, it organises one outing each month, from January to November, bringing together 8 to 12 participants for a variety of activities: ski touring, snowshoeing, caving, canyoning, hiking and mountaineering.
These moments of self-transcendence also become opportunities for connection, listening, and shared joy.
👭 Inspiring women driving the project forward
For the past 6 years, Carine Seyvecou, herself a former patient, has been the president of the association.
“My greatest pride is seeing all these courageous women blossom, open up, smile again, and watching their eyes sparkle with every new outing.”
Together with the guides and volunteers, Carine continues the mission initiated by Véronique: helping women regain confidence, restore their energy, and believe in their abilities once more.
Their journey is beautifully told in Alexandre Lopez’s documentary – “Projet final Mont Rose”, available on YouTube — a moving testimony of resilience and mutual support.
