Our ski shops in Valfréjus

Large areas of freedom of sliding await you in the valley of the Haute-Maurienne. The resort of Valfréjus was founded in 1983 above the town of Modane. This friendly and pioneering ski resort owes its name to the Franco-Italian Fréjus massif. The Modanese are innovative and avant-garde with the creation of ski jumping and bobsleigh competitions. The first sports club was created in 1920 and the destination quickly became famous for its quality of snow and cross-border location. At the end of the 1960s, the first ski lifts were built to satisfy a wider clientele and reach the summits.

Valfréjus, a land of new snow sports, combines dynamism, modernity and innovation with skwal and speed-riding. In addition, it also offers helicopter drop-offs to hurtle down the virgin slopes of Italy and make your own tracks.

Valfréjus is a family and nature ski resort where wooden chalets and preserved forests blend harmoniously. Bordering Italy, this resort is part of the Espace Haute-Maurienne Vanoise (EHMV) which groups together all the alpine ski resorts in the valley. Between relaxation, nature and après-ski activities, come and discover this natural setting nestled in the Maurienne.
