Puy Saint Vincent: the pearl of the Écrins
Located between 1,400 and 2,700 meters altitude in the Hautes-Alpes , Puy Saint Vincent is an authentic, family-friendly resort nestled at the gateway to the Écrins National Park . Founded in 1968, it has grown while preserving its mountain character, particularly through its three traditional hamlets: Le Puy, Les Alberts, and Les Prés . A pristine setting, between larch forests and the peaks of the Écrins mountains.
The 2nd greatest elevation change in the Hautes-Alpes
The ski area offers 35 slopes served by 11 ski lifts , with an impressive vertical drop of 1,500 meters , the second highest in the Hautes-Alpes. With 50% of the ski area located above 2,000 meters , the resort benefits from excellent snow conditions throughout the season. Ascending to an altitude of 2,749 meters , you can also enjoy superb panoramic views of the surrounding glaciers and peaks.
Snowpark, night skiing and fun zones
Freestyle enthusiasts can enjoy the snowpark , with features, rails, boxes, and a boardercross course suitable for different skill levels. Puy Saint Vincent also offers the opportunity to extend the day with night skiing sessions on illuminated slopes . Families will find beginner areas, snow gardens, and toboggan runs.
Much more than alpine skiing
The resort also boasts a vast Nordic area for cross-country skiing and skating, as well as opportunities to try biathlon . Several routes also allow you to explore the mountains on ski touring . For a complete change of pace, dog sledding, snowshoeing, fat biking , and wellness facilities with a heated pool, sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi round out the offerings.
An easy-to-reach station
The SNCF train station in L'Argentière-les-Écrins , located just 10 km away, provides easy access to Puy Saint Vincent via shuttle buses. By car, the resort is accessible from Grenoble via the RN91 and the Lautaret Pass , while transfer options are available from Grenoble, Marseille, and Turin airports.
