Explore the Val Cenis ski area
Your ski rental in Val Cenis will give you access to 125 kilometers of marked slopes. The ski area comprises 62 ski runs, evenly distributed:
- 16 green runs for beginner skiers
- 19 blue runs for intermediate skiers
- 22 red runs for advanced skiers
- 5 black runs for experienced skiers.
Your Val Cenis ski pass will give you access to all 28 lifts (13 chairlifts, 13 drag lifts, and 2 gondolas) to reach the entire ski area. Thinking of renting a snowboard? Val Cenis boasts a superb snowpark. And for downhill skiers looking to break new records, there are also two boardercross courses and a timing zone. Finally, you can also leave your ski rental behind in Val Cenis to enjoy a 900-meter-long toboggan run and a Nordic area perfect for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
Mountain atmosphere in the village of Lanslebourg-Mont-Cenis
The Val Cenis ski area comprises two main villages, where you can stay, eat, and rent ski or snowboard equipment. The village of Lanslebourg-Mont-Cenis offers privileged access to the Haute-Maurienne mountain range and the Vanoise National Park. Less frequented by tourists, it allows you to enjoy an authentic holiday in the heart of Savoy, with its stone chalets and slate roofs. The more touristy village of Lanslevillard offers modern and well-developed infrastructure. Located at the foot of the slopes, it allows you to make the most of your winter sports holiday. Both villages, linked to the ski resort, each offer their own unique way of discovering the beauty of the region.

Skiing isn't the only activity to enjoy in Val Cenis! The resort boasts a Nordic ski area and a multitude of hiking trails perfect for walks or snowshoeing. In summer, you can also reach Mont Cenis, Val Cenis Le Haut, and Val Cenis - Vanoise and try downhill mountain biking from the higher elevations of the ski area.
