On the border with Italy, Val Cenis offers a wide variety of ski runs with almost 1400 metres of vertical drop. Linking Val Cenis Lanslebourg to Termignon, it is a varied ski area where nature, authenticity and grandiose landscapes are combined. For lovers of powder fields, a large freeride and ski touring area is available for all those who love virgin snow.

Things to do in Val Cenis

Indeed, the Nordic area of the resort has a multitude of hiking trails where you can go for a walk on snowshoes. In summer, you can also reach Mont Cenis, Val Cenis Le Haut and Val Cenis - Vanoise and try your hand at downhill mountain biking from the heights of the domain. Finally, Val Cenis is a jewel of Savoyard gastronomy and everywhere you will have the opportunity to visit the small producers of local charcuterie and cheeses. These activities are also available in Valmeinier in the Maurienne, another resort with authentic charm. And for a privileged moment with an unbelievable panorama on the snowy summits, discover Valloire with a breathtaking view of the Maurienne. 


The après-ski in Val Cenis is one of the richest and most varied in the region. Val Cenis station can be reached by car via the A43 motorway (exit n°30), by train to Modane railway station (less than 4 hours from Paris), or by plane to Lyon, Chambery, Geneva or Grenoble airports. On site, taxi or VTC rides can also be organised.
