A charming village resort that has been preserved
Built in harmony with the surrounding nature , Morillon appeals to lovers of wide-open spaces and snow-covered forests. In Morillon 1100, traditional chalets, wooden buildings, and wild landscapes offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for a mountain holiday. A ski-in/ski-out resort and a breeding ground for champions – Olympic medalist Antoine Dénériaz made his debut here – Morillon has managed to preserve its authenticity while offering direct access to the slopes.
Created in 1950 and then developed with its first chairlift in 1958, the resort has gained in reputation over the decades until being voted the 2nd best resort in the Alps in 2017 and 2018.
Morillon, gateway to the Grand Massif ski area
Part of the Grand Massif , Morillon boasts one of the largest ski areas in the Alps , linked to Flaine, Les Carroz, Samoëns, and Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval. With 139 slopes, over 60 ski lifts, and breathtaking views of Mont Blanc, the area offers varied skiing and excellent snow conditions thanks to its ideal exposure.
Beginners and experts alike will find their playground here, with family-friendly slopes, challenging runs, and six freeride zones for carving up untouched terrain. From Tête des Saix, you can link the vertical drops down to the village, combining skiing, a friendly atmosphere, and great skiing.
