Valmorel, the charm of a Savoyard village with ski-in/ski-out access
At an altitude of 1,400 meters , Valmorel charms visitors with its architecture perfectly integrated into the mountainside. Stone and wood chalets, slate roofs, small squares, and a pedestrianized main street give the resort a warm atmosphere that is particularly appealing to families. 165 km of trails to discover with the family
Valmorel is linked to Saint-François-Longchamp within the Grand Domaine ski area, which boasts 165 km of slopes between 1,250 and 2,550 meters in altitude . The terrain alternates between forest runs, wide alpine pastures, and more challenging higher-altitude areas. Families can enjoy numerous beginner and fun zones, including the Pirate Village , while a blue run even allows skiers to cross the Col de la Madeleine and reach the Saint-François-Longchamp side of the mountain on skis.
Activities for young and old
Valmorel also offers many experiences outside of alpine skiing.
Sledding, snowshoeing, dog sledding, cross-country skiing, or yooning offer a different way to discover the mountains. Children can enjoy a safe, lit sledding run in the evening in the heart of the resort.
