SAM & GÉRALDINE ROCHET - A PASSION FOR SKIING

Son of two ski instructors, Sam Rochet's passion for the mountains was passed on by his parents. His mother Patricia was the resort's first mountain restaurant owner and his father Gérard, the resort's first piste manager, was the pioneer of artificial snowmaking in Savoie. 

At the age of 18, Sam decided to open his very first ski shop in the resort. In 2009, he joined the Ski Republic adventure with a small shop in Les Coches. The second Ski Republic shop was opened in 2012 when Sam met his wife. The two of them then decided to move to the heights of Montchavin in the 3 Glaciers residence in order to be closer to the customers and to enjoy the authenticity of the village. 

Then in 2019, the family expanded with the opening of a third shop that is warm, intimate, functional and customer-oriented. More modern, it stands out for its simplified rental system equipped with a 3D scanner. Cocooning, small woolen benches and sheepskin cushions create a cosy and mountainous atmosphere. New equipment adapted to the level of each person, a souvenir area made in Géraldine and a concierge service complete the offer.
