Chamonix is one of the rare Alpine resorts with direct access from the motorway: rapid and safe, there’s no need for special equipment to get there! Chamonix is accessible from France, via the route Blanche, from Italy, via the mont Blanc tunnel and from Switzerland, via Martigny en Valais (take care, the col des Montets is sometimes shut if there’s heavy snowfall). Our rental shop SKI REPUBLIC de Chamonix is ideally located: as you arrive in resort head for the ski lift l'Aiguille du Midi, where you will find a street of the same name, the shop is 50m downhill from the ski lift, with many parking spaces available for you to load up your equipment.book now
